Arabic + English
Google SERP Preview Tool
See how your title and meta description look on Google in English and Arabic, side by side, on desktop and mobile. Check lengths in pixels, spot right-to-left problems and copy ready-made tags.
Pixel widths are measured with Arial, the font Google uses in results, and are approximate. Google may rewrite titles and descriptions, so treat this as a strong guide, not a guarantee.
Arabic results behave differently on Google
Right to left
Arabic titles read right to left. English brand names, numbers and symbols inside them can jump to the wrong side. The preview shows exactly where they land.
Width, not characters
Google cuts titles by pixel width, around 600px on desktop. Arabic letters have different widths from English, so a character count alone can mislead you.
Mobile first
Most searches in the UAE and Saudi Arabia happen on phones, where titles wrap to two lines and descriptions show more text. Check both views.
How long should titles and descriptions be?
| Element | Aim for | Arabic tip |
|---|---|---|
| Title tag | Up to about 580–600px on desktop. Roughly 50–60 English characters. | Put the main keyword first, brand last after a separator like | or –. |
| Meta description | About 120–158 characters. Up to about 990px across two lines on desktop. | Use the Arabic question mark ؟ and Arabic commas ، rather than English ones. |
| URL | Short, readable, with the keyword. | Use an English or transliterated slug under /ar/ rather than encoded Arabic letters. |
| Diacritics (tashkeel) | Leave them out. | People rarely type them, and they add width without helping rankings. |
Questions about Google previews in Arabic and English
What is a SERP preview tool?
A SERP preview tool shows how a page’s title tag, meta description and URL will look in Google search results. This one shows English and Arabic results side by side, on desktop and mobile.
How many characters should an Arabic title tag have?
Google cuts titles by pixel width, about 600px on desktop, not by characters. In practice most Arabic titles fit in about 50–60 characters. Check the meter in the tool rather than counting.
Why does Google show a different title from mine?
Google rewrites titles it thinks don’t match the page or the search. Titles that are too long, stuffed with keywords or the same across pages are rewritten most often.
Should my Arabic and English pages have separate titles?
Yes. Each language page needs its own title and description written for how people search in that language, plus hreflang tags linking the two. The tool creates those tags for you.
Where do I paste the tags on my website?
Use your platform’s SEO fields for each page: Rank Math or Yoast on WordPress, the search engine listing in Shopify, SEO basics in Wix, and the page SEO settings in Squarespace or Webflow. On a custom-coded site, add the tags to the head section of each page. Add hreflang through your multilingual plugin or app, or in the same head section.
