What is an AI visibility checker?

An AI visibility checker tests whether AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can reach your website, understand who your business is and quote your content. The SEORTIX checker scores this out of 100 and lists the fixes.

Can this tool tell me if ChatGPT recommends my business?

Should I block GPTBot?

GPTBot collects data for training OpenAI’s models. Blocking it doesn’t remove you from ChatGPT search, which uses OAI-SearchBot. Whether to allow training is a business choice, so the checker shows it but doesn’t penalise it.

Why is my site blocked when robots.txt allows AI crawlers?

Firewalls and CDNs such as Cloudflare can block AI crawlers separately from robots.txt. The checker sends test requests to spot this and tells you where to change the setting.

Does llms.txt help AI visibility?

There’s little evidence AI tools use llms.txt today. The checker reports whether you have one, but it doesn’t affect your score.
